What We Believe

Presbyterians believe in several core principles, including the authority of the Bible, the sovereignty of God, and salvation by grace.

We believe that God is the supreme authority in the universe; God is triune, made up of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who died to atone for the sins of humanity; Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead

We believe in salvation through Jesus Christ. Beliefs about salvation. Salvation is a gift from God, not the result of one's accomplishments; that all people are sinners and unable to save themselves from God's displeasure

We believe that: the church should be led by both ministers and church members; the church should practice representative government; the church should ordain elders, deacons, and ministers; the church should recognize Baptism and Holy Communion as sacraments.
